HOT MELT ADHESIVES
Collagraf srl has always been committed to research and development of new adhesive technologies, which could meet customers’ needs and expectations. This market-oriented vision leads Collagraf to a continuos process of innovation both in production systems and research of new high-performance hot melt formulations.
Hot Melt Adhesives designed by Collagraf are manufactured in every kind of shape, in order to provide a pratical solution for any requirement and application, either industrial or manual.
Beside E.V.A. hot melt adhesives, Collagraf manufactures also METALLOCENE-based adhesives, ACRYLIC hot melt adhesives, POLYAMIDE hot melt adhesives and E.V.A. + pressure sensitive compound. As told before, Collagraf can supply every hot – melt formulation in different shapes, indeed, our Hot Melt Adhesives are produced in sticks with a diameter of: 7 mm, 8 mm, 11 mm, 12 mm, 15 mm; in cartridges with a diameter of 43 mm, and, of course, they are also produced in granules and pillows for industrial applications where a tank melters and automatic bonding lines are employed.
EVA HOT MELT ADHESIVES
Collagraf manufactures tens of premium EVA hot melt formulations for a wide range of industries and applications: packaging and displays, giftware and do-it-yourself, building contruction, plastic assembly, wood and furniture, textile lamination and coating, automotive.
POLYOLEFIN HM ADHESIVES (PO)
The innovative formulations of metallocene based hot melt glues (Polyolefin) provide several advantages in packaging industries for bonding coated boards (polyester, PPL, polyethylene) and varnished surfaces. Metallocene based adhesives even ensure short setting time and high heat resistence.
ACRILYC HOT MELT ADHESIVES (EBA)
Acrylic hot melt adhesives (EBA) have been developed about 15 years ago in order to obtain a strong adhesion on hard surfaces (plastic, wood, concrete, metal). Thanks to their extraordinary adhesive power, and to their peculiar structural flexibility, acrylic glues make possible the bonding of heavy and hard materials. They also provide a long open time, which results particularly useful to bond large surfaces.
EVA + PSA COMPOUND
Collagraf formulates advanced hot melt compound made of EVA + pressure sensitive adhesive. All these innovative formulations are available both in stick Ø 12 mm and in slugs Ø 43 mm.
PRESSURE SENSITIVE ADHESIVES (PSA)
Pressure sensitive hot melt adhesives provide a permanent open time and a powerful adhesion on many substrates; they are mostly used in labelling and packaging industry. Some special PSA formulations are defined “removable”: in this case the bonding is not meant to be permanent and a low pelling force is required in order not to damage substrates.
POLYAMIDE HOT MELT ADHESIVES
Polyamide glues are particularly indicated for those applications where a very high heat resistence is requested. Collagraf manufactures polyamide glue sticks and granules wich are employed especially for bonding electronic components, filters and plastic materials in automotive industry. Moreover, Collagraf has been developing polyamide glues for hair extentions, both in sticks and stripes.
